Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ To Be Released in January 2018
Fighting game and Dragon Ball enthusiasts don’t have too long to wait for Bandai Namco’s Dragon Ball FighterZ which will be released on January 26th in North America and Europe.
The publisher has also revealed what players can get in the two digital versions of the fighting game. The FighterZ edition includes the game and eight new characters for the 2.5D’s character roster meanwhile the Ultimate Edition includes the above and a commentator voice pack plus an anime music pack featuring music from the anime.
The eight additional characters included in the digital copies of the game are also available in the game’s season pass – the FighterZ pass.
Pre-orders are now live and those who pre-purchase will be eligible for the game’s open beta in January.
In a press release, Bandai Namco also announced two new fighters for Dragon Ball FighterZ:
- Captain Ginyu – Possesses the ability to switch himself with the opponent’s fighter until the end of the fight.
- Nappa – A heavy type character who uses the Saibamen to attack the opponent offering the chance to charge energy or prepare a combo.
In addition, the game’s story mode will feature three different parts, the Super Warriors arc from the perspective of the Saiyans, the Super Villain Arc and the Android Arc.
Online Mode includes two modes, Circle Match in which eight players enter a room and up to four fights can happen simultaneously and World Match which features casual and ranked matches.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will be available in January 26th in North America and Europe and is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
