For Honor Gets a Closed Beta Soon
Hack and slash action game, For Honor has a closed beta taking place later this month.
The beta will run from 26th to 29th January and will be available across all platforms including Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
You can sign up for the beta on Ubisoft’s website here.
Players can pick one faction out of three (Knight, Samurai or Viking) with achievements from that faction netting bonuses for those in the same tribe, however you will still be able to pick and play as whichever tribe and class you choose.
For Honor, developed by Ubisoft Montreal, was first revealed at E3 2015 with a cinematic trailer and gameplay demo.
The game features hand-to-hand combat called ‘The Art of Battle’. When facing tougher opponents, players enter a dueling mode in which you choose how to position your weapon to block or attack.
Each faction has different classes and their own unique weapons, skills and fighting styles. For example, the Assassin class is fast and efficient at dueling meanwhile Heavies are can take more damage and are more suited to taking capture points.
For Honor is scheduled for a worldwide release on February 14, 2017.
