Gran Turismo Sport Demo Available For A Limited Time Next Week

PlayStation have announced that a limited-time Gran Turismo Sport demo will be available from next week.

The four-day demo will be available on the PlayStation Store from October 9th at 10am BST to October 12th at 2pm BST and any vehicles or credits – up to $1MM – earned in the demo will be carried over to the full game on October 17th.

There will be three main game modes available in the Gran Turismo Sport demo – Sport, Campaign and Arcade.

Sport mode allows players to face off against similar performance-level players after setting their fastest lap time in qualifying, Campaign offers different challenges, missions and circuits to unlock vehicles, earn experience and further your personal garage and driver profile while Arcade mode offers three pre-selected circuits and offline split-screen play.

The Livery Editor will allow players to customise their vehicles with logos and adjust the colour of their car, wheels, hood, spoiler and more meanwhile Scapes is a detailed photo mode allowing you to photograph your vehicles in real world locations.

PlayStation Plus members can pre-load the Gran Turismo Sport demo from October 7th at 10am BST.

Gran Turismo Sport is the seventh game in the popular racing sim series and was originally scheduled to release in November 2016 before being delayed in order for Polyphony Digital to further polish the game.

For the first time in the series, Gran Turismo Sport will also support PlayStation VR at launch.

Last year series creator Kazunori Yamauchi referred to Gran Turismo Sport as “the┬ábeginning of a new generation” of Gran Turismo games.

The historic racing series still holds the title of the best-selling exclusive PlayStation franchise of all time with a cumulative total sales of 72.6 million copies.
