Rocket League on Xbox One Gets a Release Date

Rocket League has been given a release date of February 17 for Xbox One users, developer Psyonix announces.

Vice President of Psyonix, Jeremy Dunham announced the release date on Xbox Wire and said:

Rocket League has been a long time coming to Xbox One, and the team here at Psyonix is incredibly proud to be bringing it to you thanks to our development partners at Panic Button. With their help and expertise, we were able to bring Rocket League to Xbox One with a high level of performance and fidelity.”

In addition to the base game PS4 owners have had access to, the Xbox One version will come bundled with three previously released DLC packs including: Supersonic Fury, Revenge of the Battle-Cars and Chaos Run.

These packs include new cars, decals, rocket trails, wheels, paint types, toppers and antennas to customize your vehicles.

Xbox One users will also get two exclusive vehicles – The ‘Armadillo’ from Gears of War, the ‘Warthog’ variant from Halo and items inspired by Sunset Overdrive.

The game will be available for $19.99 in the U.S and the regional equivalent elsewhere.

The physics-based game released on PS4 and PC July 7th 2015 and was part of the free PS Plus games for that month.

By the end of the year, Rocket League had been downloaded over 8 million times and grossed over $50 million.

The car soccer game also featured on my favourite games of 2015 list.
