Sega’s Vanquish Coming to PC Soon
Vanquish – The Fast Paced Shooter from Platinum Games Coming to PC
After a series of teases, Sega have revealed that Vanquish it coming to PC via Steam later this month.
The third-person shooter from Platinum Games will be coming to Steam on May 25th.
The game has received some tweaks and optimisations for PC players to take advantage of such as an unlocked framerate, support for 4K resolution, new graphics options plus keyboard and mouse support.
The title will be fully supported on Steam with Steam Achievements, Trading Cards, Cloud Save and more.
Sega has recently been converting a number of titles from its back catalogue for PC including Valkyria Chronicles and Bayonetta.
Players who already own Bayonetta on Steam will automatically receive 25% off Vanquish should they choose to purchase the game.
Sega has also said to stay tuned for further announcements regarding its back catalogue conversion programme.
Vanquish was released back in October 2010 on Xbox 360 and PS3 and like Bayonetta the game was received pretty well by critics with praise for its stylish and fast paced combat but was criticised for its short campaign length.
One of Platinum Games’ latest games, Scalebound was cancelled by Microsoft at the beginning of this year over concerns about the game’s quality.
