Street Fighter V Arcade Edition Coming in January
Capcom Announces Street Fighter V Arcade Edition
Capcom have announced Street Fighter V Arcade Edition containing several new modes and DLC characters.
The collection will contain Arcade Mode which celebrates 30 years of the series’ history and allows players to fight in matches across six paths inspired by previous games against the CPU.
Also included is Extra Battle Mode which entails limited time exclusive challenges which players can spend Fight Money on to earn premium outfits each month. A special premium costume will be available if all four challenges each month are accomplished.
Other content includes new V-trigger moves, a gallery and a new user interface plus DLC characters all of which will be included in the base version of the game as a free update when Street Fighter V Arcade Edition releases on January 16, 2018 on PlayStation 4 and PC.

Capcom points out that no matter which version of the game players own, they will be in the same pool of users regardless and that all post-launch gameplay is available using the in-game currency:
“All of the post launch gameplay content, such as the DLC characters in Street Fighter V, is earnable completely free of charge through completing various in-game challenges and receiving earned in-game currency, called Fight Money. For those who just can’t wait to unlock each piece of new content, content can also be obtained instantly using purchased in-game currency.”
