Suicide Squad Trailer Shows More Batman

Third Suicide Squad Trailer Released

A third trailer has been shown for Suicide Squad, Warner Bros. upcoming anti-hero film starring Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Jared Leto.

The trailer made its debut at the MTV Movie Awards last night.

The film will be the second film that is part of the DC Extended Universe, with the first being Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

You can check out a HD version of the trailer below:

The trailer continues to show some of the more light-hearted moments of the film and shows new footage of Batman as well as the rest of the cast.

Recent rumours have suggested that the film underwent re-shoots (not uncommon for many films) to make the film more humorous after the reception to the very dark and morose Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

However, Suicide Squad star Jai Courtney who plays Captain Boomerang in the film, stated that this rumour was inaccurate:

“I think there’s plenty of [humor] in it.

“I wouldn’t say we’re going back to make it funnier, there’s some additional action stuff that we’ve been doing, which is pretty dope. Really we’re just kind of adding in that sense.”

Suicide Squad is being directed by David Ayer (director and writer of Fury) and is scheduled for release on August 5th.
