Terminator Genisys Sequel Removed from Schedule

Terminator Genisys Sequel Replaced by Paramount

Paramount have removed the Terminator Genisys sequel from its release schedule.

The film from Skydance Entertainment was set to release on May 19, 2017 and now doesn’t have a clear future.

The slot has now been taken by Baywatch, a fresh take on the 1990s TV series about California lifeguards and will star Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.

Baywatch will be directed by Seth Gordon and will co-star IIfenesh Hadera, Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach.

The news is perhaps not surprising due to Terminator Genisys‘s weak performance at the box office where it earned just $89 million in North America.
